Sherpa Makes Big Hit in Arlington

Hundreds swarm Sherpa’s Arlington Fly-In display to see Sherpa’s new turbine powered prototype on display for viewing for the first time. The show management indicated Sherpa’s booth was the #1 attraction at this years show. Visitor’s mouths dropped open in dismay when they saw the physical size and quality of the new model. There were many “oos” and “ahs” as viewers watched the amazing take off and landing performance shown on the company’s new video production.

Cindy Daubert of Banks, Oregon’s big grin shows her reaction as she poses for her husband, Gary Daubert, to give some idea of comparison of size of the new Sherpa. Cindy’s big grin also was prompted by the special award she and her husband received as Reserved Champion Builder for their RV8 kit.

Captain Stan Langaker of LA gave a new nickname for the Sherpa when he exclaimed that it looked like “a turbine beaver with an attitude”.
