Sherpa 500 Goes Into Production, The Original 5-place with a new name.

The Sherpa Company has always been proud of it’s original five place design and regrets having never produced it. Along with the 8 place 650 turbine now in production, the company is announcing the resurrection of the 400HP I/O-720 powered five place. Refined and renamed the Sherpa 500, “in reference to its 5000 pound gross weight”, it’s every backwoods pilot’s dream.

Plans for three experimental quick built kits with existing zero time Lycoming I/O 720 are under way, with a base price of $450,000. These 3 airplanes can be progressively billed through the production process. Come be a part of aviation history in the making.
